Mindfulness for Chronic Pain Group
Coming Soon, Fall/Winter 2026
Living with chronic pain can be physically and emotionally exhausting, often impacting stress levels, mood, and day-to-day functioning. This Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) group offers a supportive, structured space to learn skills for working with pain in a new way—through mindfulness, body awareness, and gentle, guided practice. The goal is not to eliminate pain, but to change your relationship to it, reducing suffering and increasing your capacity for ease, presence, and regulation.
In addition to the mindfulness practices, this group also offers the support of a shared group experience. Connecting with others who understand what it is like to live with chronic pain can reduce feelings of isolation and create a sense of belonging. Through peer interaction, reflection, and shared learning, participants often find validation, encouragement, and new perspectives that can deepen the impact of the mindfulness work. Group settings can also help foster connection, accountability, and the reminder that healing does not have to happen alone.
